Sarah specializes in working with teens and adults, particularly those facing anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorder, or parenting challenges within couples. She primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but believes treatment is deeply personal and adjusts her approach to fit each individual’s unique needs. Whether working on mood management, emotional regulation, flexibility, or coping strategies, Sarah is committed to providing compassionate and tailored care.
Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in neuropsychology and a minor in Biochemistry from Calvin University. After a year working as an Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) behavior technician, she earned a Master of Science in Clinical Health Psychology from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. During her graduate studies, Sarah completed a practicum at BRAINS, gaining hands-on experience in neuropsychological and psychological assessments.
