With extensive experience working in various medical social work settings with children impacted by the child welfare system, as well as with middle- and high school students, Sandy is well-versed in the challenges faced by young people across these systems. She stays connected to the current trends within these systems as well as with the language shaping the lives of today’s adolescents.
Sandy obtained her Master’s degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University in 2013. She is a compassionate and experienced Licensed Master’s Social Worker at the Pine Rest Telehealth Clinic, where she walks alongside adolescents and adults of all ages on their journey to improve mental health and well-being.
