Sabrina Haverdink uses a trauma-informed approach to mental health care with individuals seeking counseling to overcome a single traumatic event (car accident, loss of a loved one, divorce), developmental, and/or complex trauma (abuse, neglect). She earned a bachelor’s degree from Hope College in 1992 and is a master-level graduate of the school of social work (GSSW) from the University of Denver with a Limited License. Her passion is co-collaborating with individuals who have experienced trauma to instill hope that leads to felt safety, self-regulation and overall restored health.

Sabrina’s areas of expertise and treatment interest include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), women’s interpersonal issues, trauma-related issues including PTSD, Acute Stress Disorder (ASD), Secondhand Trauma, and Vicarious Trauma. Additionally, Sabrina journeys with adults living with anxiety, and/or depression, and grief and loss.

Sabrina participates with Faith Community Outreach, an initiative within Pine Rest that seeks to connect area clergy, churches, and ministries to services available from Pine Rest; as well as develop new services specifically designed to benefit the faith community.

Sabrina Haverdink participates in the Diversity Collective.
