Dr. Roger Erickson, Ph.D, joined Pine Rest’s Psychological Consultation Center at the beginning of 2023. Within this role, his clinical care includes comprehensive ADHD assessments and pediatric neuropsychological evaluations.
Dr. Erickson earned a Master’s of Arts of Theology (M.A.) and Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Clinical Psychology from Fuller Theological Seminary. He also completed three years of specialized postdoctoral training. He then completed a one-year Pediatric Psychology postdoctoral fellowship through the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, a training program that included working with patients with chronic medical conditions and developmental disabilities, and specialized interdisciplinary training through the Leadership and Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities program. In addition to this, he also completed a two-year fellowship in Pediatric Rehabilitation Psychology and Neuropsychology through the University of Michigan Health System, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Prior to joining Pine Rest, Dr. Erickson provided rehabilitation-focused assessments and interventions as a clinical psychologist at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital where he provided ADHD evaluations which emphasized core tenets of rehabilitation, such as the strengths/assets of the individual, consumer protection and patient advocacy.
