“Psychiatry was not my intended field of medicine but through various medical rotations during PA school, I found myself drawn to the patients in need of psychiatric care. I enjoyed not only the challenge of addressing concerns that were more than just physical, but creating a safe environment for my patients to express concerns and feel heard.”
