Pooja is a Limited Licensed Master level Social Worker who works with adolescents and adults at Pine Rest Northeast Clinic. She enjoys working with diverse populations and exploring generational trauma/patterns while using approaches such as CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), motivational interviewing, TF-CBT (Trauma focused), Psychodynamic, Attachment Theories and Strength-based. Pooja works with those diagnosed with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder.
Pooja grew up on the east side of Michigan and earned her bachelor’s in social work at Western Michigan University. She then moved to Grand Rapids and worked as a Children’s Case Manager. Pooja pursued her Master’s degree at Grand Valley State University and moved on to work as a therapist.
