“As a Licensed Master Social Worker and psychotherapist, I am deeply passionate about providing inclusive, affirming and culturally responsive care to diverse individuals. I believe that every person deserves a safe and supportive space to explore their experiences, heal and grow. I am committed to serving clients from all backgrounds with sensitivity and respect, ensuring that therapy is a place where they feel truly seen and valued. As an LGBTQ+ affirming clinician, I strive to create an environment where individuals of all gender identities and sexual orientations can navigate their journeys with confidence and self-compassion. My approach is rooted in empathy, evidence-based practices, and a firm belief in the resilience of the human spirit.”

As a person-centered therapist, Paul prioritizes creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions and experiences. His approach is collaborative and flexible, recognizing that each individual’s journey is unique. He works alongside his clients to tailor therapy to their specific needs, ensuring that sessions feel meaningful and effective. Through a combination of compassionate dialogue, psychoeducation and practical skill-building, he helps clients develop the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges with confidence. Whether his clients are working on emotional regulation, coping strategies, or personal growth, Paul’s goal is to foster self-awareness, resilience and lasting positive change.

Paul utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy-Informed (DBT-I), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to provide evidence-based, individualized care. Through CBT, he helps clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress and behavioral challenges. Incorporating DBT-informed techniques, Paul supports clients in developing mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness skills. For those who have experienced trauma, he integrates TF-CBT to promote healing by addressing the impact of traumatic experiences in a structured and compassionate way. By blending these approaches, Paul empowers clients with practical tools to foster resilience, self-awareness and meaningful growth.

A typical therapy session with Paul is a collaborative and supportive experience tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. Sessions often begin with a check-in to explore current thoughts, emotions and challenges, followed by a focus on skill-building, self-reflection and meaningful discussions. Paul offers clients practical follow-up exercises and reflections to engage with between sessions, reinforcing the skills and insights gained in therapy. These assignments are designed to help clients apply what they’ve learned in real-life situations, fostering growth and progress beyond the therapy room.

Since 2015, Paul has been practicing as a master’s level social worker and therapist, providing support to adolescents and adults. Prior to this, he gained valuable professional experience in various roles focused on supporting families with their mental health needs.
