Nick is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Midwestern Baptist Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. He completed his undergraduate work at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Nick began his counseling career working for a private practice agency in the suburbs of Chicago.
Nick helps clients who are struggling with a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, behavioral problems, trauma-related concerns, and men’s issues among others. Additionally, he works with clients who are seeking guidance in personal growth, overcoming family conflict, and coming to terms with grief and loss. Nick has experience working with community agencies, churches, schools, legal services, and social service agencies. He has training and practice for those wanting to involve their faith as a significant role in their counseling.
Nick approaches counseling as a way to bear each other’s burdens and help clients better achieve their goals while navigating the difficulties that life can bring.
Nick participates with Faith Community Outreach, an initiative within Pine Rest that seeks to connect area clergy, churches, and ministries to services available from Pine Rest; as well as develop new services specifically designed to benefit the faith community.
