Nichole Byker is a Fully Licensed Masters of Social Work (LMSW) in the State of Michigan, working with children ages 0-12 and adults 21+ at the Pine Rest Holland Clinic. She received her Bachelor’s in Social Work at Calvin College in 1999 and her Master’s in Social Work at the University of Denver in 2002. She specializes in working with couples and families and has a Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Denver Institute and a Masters in Biblical Counseling for Marriage and Family from Light University. Nichole is also a trained parent educator with the Positive Discipline parenting program.
Although she grew up in the Holland area, Nichole has lived and worked in Costa Rica for the last 18 years. She is a bi-lingual therapist and is offering counseling services in Spanish as well as English. She has experience working with refugees and those who have experienced abuse, trauma, domestic violence, anxiety, depression and PTSD.
