
Molly Cohn, LMSW
Molly (she/her) is a licensed social worker who started working at Pine Rest in October 2021. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and Master’s in social work from Grand Valley State University. She is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and is a member of the DBT Team at the Northwest Clinic. Molly has a history of working as a DBT therapist, treating individuals with borderline personality disorder. In addition to DBT, Molly is also trained in Motivational Interviewing, CBT-informed, and incorporates mindfulness into sessions.
Molly has a special interest in working with adolescents and adults who experience depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation and self-harm. She is passionate about helping individuals build a life worth living.
Molly enjoys knitting, gardening, running, painting, and spending time with her family and pets. She uses humor, transparency and radical genuineness in her therapy to develop a strong therapeutic relationship. Molly is LGBTQIA+ affirming.
