Michelle has worked in the behavioral-health field with adults, children and families in both home-based and outpatient settings. She has a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University.
Michelle’s areas of expertise are helping individuals develop healthy communication and coping skills, and addressing trauma. She has been trained and has experience in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy and has worked with several clients with anxiety and depression. She particularly enjoys working with clients who want to understand communication or thought patterns.
Michelle resides in the greater Grand Rapids area with her husband, son and daughter. She enjoys taking walks with her adopted dog and likes reading.
