“I enjoy connecting with people … Brené Brown speaks to my heart when she describes ‘Connection is why we are here. We are hardwired to connect with others, it’s what gives purpose and meaning to our lives, and without it there is suffering.’ I believe we are all unique individuals with many strengths, and we all have areas in our lives that create struggles. Being vulnerable to our needs and seeking support from others makes life much more fulfilling and enjoyable. As Brown reminds us, “Imperfections are not inadequacies; they are reminders that we’re all in this together.”
