Michaela Cortese, LMSW, CAADC, ADS
Michaela is a Licensed Masters of Social Work (LMSW) and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). She completed her undergraduate degree at Central Michigan University, then went on to complete her Masters of Social Work (Clinical Focus) at Michigan State University. Michaela also completed a certificate program for Clinical Social Work with Families while at Michigan State University.
Michaela’s experience has been with individuals who have experienced depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, co-occurring disorders, trauma, relational/marital conflict, domestic violence, and substance use.
Michaela utilizes therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), Solution Focused therapy (SFT), Motivational Therapy (MI), and Narrative Therapy, to best meet the needs of her clients.
