Melody J. Edwards is a licensed clinical social worker and certified advanced alcohol and drug counselor. She loves and utilizes the symbolism of the lotus blooming out of muddy, murky water as a metaphor for what can happen in therapy.

Since 2008, Melody has been working with clients of all ages and walks of life experiencing life transitions, mental illness from mild to severe, substance use, grief, loss, and trauma. Melody uses a person-centered approach incorporating CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. She is also trained in EMDR and CPT for PTSD.

Melody Edwards participates in the Diversity Collective.
