Melissa Davisson is a board-certified physician assistant with Pine Rest since 2019. She works as an outpatient provider and sees adults 18 years and older.
Melissa received both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Medicine from Western Michigan University. Her prior experience is in emergency medicine and memory care settings. She completed a fellowship program at Pine Rest specializing in psychiatry and expanding her knowledge in addiction medicine.
Melissa is very passionate about mental health and encouraging positive lifestyle changes. Her specialties include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, trauma disorders, psychotic disorders, and ADHD. Her treatment goals include diagnosing and optimizing medication for the lowest effective dose and amount of medication required.
In her free time, Melissa enjoys running, yoga, working out, and spending time with friends and family.
