Melissa is a board-certified physician assistant who has been serving the community at Pine Rest since 2019. She earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Medicine from Western Michigan University. Before transitioning to psychiatry, she gained valuable experience in emergency medicine and memory care. She further specialized her expertise by completing a psychiatry fellowship at Pine Rest, with focused training in addiction medicine.
