Megan Freed, LMSW, MSW
Megan is a fully licensed clinical social worker and has been with Pine Rest since December 2010. Prior to coming to Pine Rest, she worked as an emergency mental health clinician at St. Joseph County Community Mental Health, an Emergency Room therapist at Borgess Medical Center, and an outpatient therapist at Family & Children Services.
She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Western Michigan University, and her Master in Social Work from the University of Michigan.
Other previous experience includes doing play therapy at a private practice in West Bloomfield, and working with children, adolescents and their families at Mott Children’s Hospital in the Child & Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatric Unit.
Megan enjoys working with young people who are struggling with depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), divorce, behavior problems, family conflict, and grief.
