“I am passionate about providing a safe space for anyone seeking therapy, including individuals from the LGLBTQ+ community as well as the immigrant community (Solo hablo inglés, pero me siento cómodo utilizando un intérprete). You will find a trusted ally as you grow within the therapeutic environment.
“I am trained in and utilize motivational interviewing, dialectical behavior therapy strategies and cognitive behavior therapy. I began my social work career with ten years of crisis experience working for Community Mental Health where I assessed suicide risk, homicide risk and psychosis. With my crisis experience, please know you can bring me any challenges you may be experiencing and it will not shock me.
“My professional experience includes working with children, adolescents, young adults, adults and individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. I value and enjoy the challenge of family work. My specialties include substance use disorders, trauma, and personality disorders. I also work well with those experiencing depression or anxiety. I form therapeutic bonds quickly and easily with the LGLBTQ+ community, people with medical conditions, as well as those with intellectual disabilities.”
