Dr. Mary Hui-Wee earned her Doctorate Degree in Counseling Psychology from Andrews University in 2008 and her Master’s Degree Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University in 1993. Dr. Hui-Wee has 30+ years of experience working in the areas of mental health and with substance use disorders
In treatment, Dr. Hui-Wee’s clients are supported in developing insight, practicing emotional regulation strategies, and shifting patterns that no longer serve them. She encourages self-reflection and active participation, with an emphasis on building skills that promote long-term well-being.
Dr. Hui-Wee provides therapy at the Pine Rest Kalamazoo Clinic. She is a licensed psychologist with specialized experience in treating complex trauma and anxiety-related conditions across the lifespan, as well as substance use disorders. Her integrative, evidence-based approach is rooted in her dedication to culturally sensitive and client-centered care.
