“Life happens and is often imperfectly managed, leaving its imprint in our emotional and functional wellbeing. Each of us develops life views that shape our decision making and thus quality of life outcomes. Age and stage realities leave us trying to understand what is happening or has happened to us over time. As a therapist, it is in the moments of shared reflection and seeing new awareness and emotional relief that impassion me. My involvement is a response to an underlying faith driven service – a holy interaction which is humbling to be a part of.”
Mark is soft-spoken, gentle and kind in his engagement, offering variations of narrative to reflect alternate perspectives. He provides a comfortable space of acceptance for the humanity we all deal with. Therapy is always under the control of the client. Sessions with Mark are a verbal exchange about what reason someone has for being present and what factors have contributed to their emotional and functional state. A review of past and present issues combined with future desired outcomes are guardrails for the therapy process.
