Mariah DeYoung is the Substance Use Director for Outpatient and Recovery Services. While she does not maintain a caseload in her current role, she takes an active interest in the health and recovery of those who struggle with substance use disorder, and works diligently with her team to ensure the very best possible outcomes for all substance use clients and their families.
Before coming to Pine Rest, Mariah worked at a community mental health organization, serving clients with mental illness, developmental disabilities, children with emotional impairments and their families. She also worked as part of the after-hours crisis team.
Mariah recently earned supervision certifications from both MCBAP and NASW-MI. She uses her training and knowledge to mentor and support staff at Pine Rest and also the community as a whole. Mariah enjoys participating in community presentations and media appearances to help spread the important message that help is available for those who struggle with substance use disorder.
