Marci Gleason, LMSW
Marci is a licensed master of social work (LMSW). She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Gender and Women’s Studies from Western Michigan University. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from Western Michigan University in addition to a certificate for their Specialty Program of Alcohol and Drug Abuse. Marci has been affiliated with Pine Rest since 2012. She took a year away from Pine Rest after graduating with her Master’s in Social Work to provide Assertive Community Treatment to individuals struggling with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder or other chronic mental illnesses.
As a clinician Marci has experience working with a variety of ages in the inpatient psychiatric setting, medical hospital and substance abuse field. Her clinical interests include working with individuals coping with autism spectrum disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, substance abuse, codependency, grief/loss and trauma related issues.
Outside of the office, Marci enjoys spending time with family and friends, photography, attending sporting events and spending time outside.
