“The work I do with clients is fueled by my passion to guide individuals through life’s most difficult moments. I combine my expertise in mental health and substance use recovery with a deep understanding of diverse cultural perspectives to empower clients in their journey toward healing and personal growth.
“As a bilingual (Arabic and English) and bicultural (Middle Eastern and American) therapist, I bring a unique ability to understand the impact of cultural factors and meet clients where they are. I am dedicated to understanding the experiences that have shaped clients’ current challenges, and integrating these insights into a personalized approach to healing. From there, I tailor evidence-based interventions to help clients make lasting changes and achieve their goals.
“Some of the treatment modalities I draw from include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)-informed interventions, solution-focused therapy (SFT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), trauma-focused therapy, and narrative therapy.”
