“I have always enjoyed listening to people’s stories. Every person is interesting and complex, and I also find deep meaning in helping others. Therapy allows me to bring these two passions together. As a therapist I have the privilege of helping people recognize their strengths, and supporting them as they work toward the life they want to live. Life can be challenging, and my goal is to help lighten that load—making difficult times easier to navigate and ensuring you don’t feel alone. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, understood and empowered to make meaningful changes.”
Mallory prioritizes building strong, trusting relationships with her clients. With this foundation, she uses a person-centered approach to therapy and believes in a collaborative process, viewing clients as the experts in their own lives. Her clients can expect a warm, nonjudgmental space where they are free to explore their thoughts and feelings.
Mallory practices from an integrated framework, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based therapies, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This approach allows her to meet clients where they are and address individual needs with care and intention.
Sessions with Mallory typically involve a mix of conversation, reflective exercises and practical strategies that clients can apply in their daily lives. Together, clients and Mallory work toward goals that address current concerns while also exploring the root causes of ongoing challenges.
