Lucas (He/Him/His) is a Licensed Professional Counselor who completed his Master’s of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology at the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology in 2013. He also obtained a Master’s of Divinity at the Seattle School in 2019. He has specialized training completing the Fenway Institute’s TransEcho program in supporting people whom identify as LGBTQ+. Lucas also has a certificate of proficiency with substance use and experience treating addiction. He has a variety of experience working at different levels of care in the community, including inpatient, residential, primary care, and outpatient support.
Lucas’ treatment areas of interest are relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, spiritual concerns, grief, and life transitions. He uses a variety of approaches focusing on relational, existential, sensorimotor/somatic, and psychodynamic approaches, complemented with motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy as needed.
