Lisa is a board certified Physician Assistant. She has been working at Pine Rest as an outpatient provider since October 2018. In addition to working outpatient, Lisa also provides care at our Psychiatric Urgent Care Center. Lisa completed the Physician Assistant Training program through Pine Rest and currently serves as the Clinical Coordinator for this program.
Lisa graduated from Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical School with a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies in 2018. In the Spring of 2021, Lisa obtained her Certificate of Added Qualifications in Psychiatry from the NCCPA.
Lisa sees patients ages 18-65 for psychiatric evaluation and medication management. She is skilled at diagnosing and managing psychiatric conditions and enjoys working with young adult patients. Lisa approaches medication management conservatively and believes that lifestyle modifications and therapy are just as powerful in managing mental health conditions as medications.
