“I became a therapist because I believe in the power of listening, understanding and walking alongside others during seasons of struggle and growth. I find purpose in helping people explore who they are, overcome internal barriers and move toward a life that reflects their values and strengths.”
Lisa integrates evidence-based practices with a person-centered framework, tailoring her approach to each individual’s unique needs and goals. Her work often includes cognitive-behavioral techniques, motivational strategies and narrative exploration. In therapy, Lisa’s clients are encouraged to grow in self-awareness, develop healthy coping strategies and align their choices with what matters most to them. Lisa values the process of helping clients feel more equipped and empowered in their daily lives.
Lisa is a Limited Licensed Psychologist at the Pine Rest Kalamazoo Clinic. In addition to her clinical work, she participates in Faith Community Outreach, an initiative within Pine Rest that seeks to connect area clergy, churches, and ministries to services available from Pine Rest; as well as develop new services specifically designed to benefit the faith community.
