“Growing up, I knew I would eventually be in a career helping others. As a young adult, I spent time working in residential facilities in Latin America as well as here in the US. Seeing the impact of abuse and trauma on children inspired me to go to grad school and increase my skills for helping others heal. Since then, I have dedicated my life to understanding and treating trauma as well as other mental health issues.”
