Faith Statement

In life we will all experience pains, struggles and hardships; none of us are exempt from that. The good news is this – these moments do not have to become the definition of who we are. It has only been through the power of God’s unconditional love and patient, persistent pursuit of my heart that I have experienced a level of healing & restoration that has transformed every aspect of who I am. The same lens of love, which has so graciously been extended to me, is what I strive to view others through.

My faith and relationship with Jesus Christ is an intricate part of who I am and it is integrated into every aspect of my life, including my therapy session. As a Christian Therapist, I believe we all have a “God shaped hole” that is equally as important as the psychological, emotional and biological aspects of who we are. In that, I also believe that healing and growth can only occur when love is present. For this reason, I choose to meet my clients where they are and will walk with them into the places that they are ready, willing and comfortable to enter into. I consider it such an honor and privilege to be able to journey with others into some of the most impactful, painful and vulnerable places of their lives; a role I do not take lightly but choose to enter into with grace. Whether my clients share in my faith or not, my desire is to be an example of the kindness and love of Christ. Afterall, that is where healing and growth begin.
