“As a psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 30 years’ experience, my passion for helping others navigate life’s toughest challenges is what drives me every day.
“My journey in mental health care began when I pursued a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Woman’s University, where I spent over 20 years working in therapy practices. Over the years, I developed an expertise in supporting families impacted by chronic illnesses and terminal conditions, understanding the profound emotional and psychological effects these situations can have.
“I later went on to complete a Master’s in Nursing at the University of Missouri at Columbia, where I became a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Today, I provide medication management for clients ages 18+, helping them find balance and healing through thoughtful, individualized care.
As a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Michigan Psychiatric Nurses Association, I continue to stay connected to the latest developments in my field. My life’s work is fueled by a deep commitment to improving mental health and supporting those facing both the everyday and extraordinary challenges that come with illness and life transitions.
