Dr. Krissa Kirby joined Pine Rest in 2022. She is a licensed psychologist who received her doctorate from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Chicago. She completed her APA approved pre-doctoral internship at Primary Children’s Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, and her post-doctoral residency at Health & Pediatric Psychology Associates in Bonita Springs, Florida. Dr. Kirby is a member of the Michigan Psychological Association and is an adjunct assistant professor at the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University.
Dr. Kirby works with children, adolescents and adults, and specializes in treating mood disorders, behavioral disorders, grief, women’s issues, adverse childhood experiences, and chronic pain management. She uses a solution-focused integrative treatment approach which is highly individualized. Dr. Kirby provides a comfortable, safe healing space in which her patients can find long-lasting solutions to their social, emotional, and behavioral issues.
