Kira Poncin is a limited licensed professional counselor. She completed her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
Kira is especially passionate about serving the LGBTQIA+ community and individuals exploring gender identity and sexuality. Her background also includes working with adolescents and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and stress.
Each person’s story is worth telling and worth continuing. Kira works together with clients from the lens of their individual stories. Whether this means helping clients understand their own unique story or exploring how their narratives may be contributing to negative thought patterns and beliefs, she believes these stories can be edited or rewritten. Kira is here to help clients begin a new chapter of healing and growth.
In her free time, Kira enjoys reading, crafting, kayaking and spending time in the forest.
