“I strive to bring a warm, empathetic approach to therapy rooted in honesty and a deep commitment to your growth. I believe transformation happens when clients feel truly seen, heard and supported in a space that fosters trust and openness. I’m not here to kick back in an armchair and analyze you—you are the expert of your own life. Instead, I will work alongside you as a dedicated ally, diving into the challenges that matter most and discovering practical, actionable steps to create lasting change.

“At the heart of my work is the belief that deep self-understanding fuels powerful change. Ultimately, my mission is to empower clients to break through their barriers, gain confidence, and build a life that’s not just better, but more vibrant, fulfilling and true to who they really are.”

Dr. Kunze’s approach is client-centered. She incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and other insight-oriented interventions into treatment.

Dr. Kunze earned her doctorate from George Fox University in Oregon. She has worked at Pine Rest since 2012.

Kimberley Kunze participates in the Diversity Collective.
