Kim is a licensed social worker with over 20 years of experience. She received a BA in sociology in 1983 from Calvin College and a MSW from the University of Michigan in 1989. Prior to coming to Pine Rest, Kim worked for 16 years as a therapist/ clinical supervisor for Wedgewood Christian Services.

Kim has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of professional settings. Currently she works with children, adolescents, adults and older adults addressing issues including PTSD/Trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, childhood behavioral issues, perinatal mood disorders, and medical related issues.

Kim has received specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for treatment of trauma and other related disorders. She also is a certified trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapist.

Kim Williams participates in the Diversity Collective.
