“I have always been passionate about what it means to be an agent of change and empowering those around me to lead the change they want to see, whether that be in their own lives or the communities in which they live.”
Kim uses a collaborative, person-centered approach, walking and working alongside individuals to help them achieve their goals and overcome barriers. This includes utilizing different modalities such as acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive-behavioral techniques (CBT), motivational interviewing, and psychoeducation to help identify emotions, negative thoughts of self, barriers and developing healthy coping mechanisms.
Kim’s clients can expect to experience a warm, safe and non-judgement space to explore their thoughts and emotions. Kim believes everyone deserves to be treated and shown compassion and respect, regardless of their background or situation, and is always open to feedback from the clients on how to best serve them.
