Kim is a Limited Licensed Psychologist with experience working in a variety of mental health settings since 2002. She earned a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University and completed her undergraduate degree at Michigan State University.
Kim has been providing outpatient therapy since 2019 and works with adolescents, adults and couples. Prior to starting at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services, she worked for thirteen years in an inpatient hospital setting, and for five years at a neurorehabilitation program.
Kim enjoys helping her clients manage anxiety disorders, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, difficulty with adjustment, and traumatic brain injury. She takes a collaborative approach to help people improve their quality of life using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to address clinical concerns.
