Kensley adopts a conservative prescribing philosophy, aiming to achieve optimal outcomes with the minimal effective medication dosage, prioritizing patient well-being and minimizing potential side effects. Sessions are conducted in a relaxed, non-judgmental environment, fostering open communication and trust. Kensley is a licensed Physician Assistant with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Grand Valley State University, where she completed a rigorous and comprehensive curriculum encompassing both didactic coursework and clinical rotations. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience from GVSU, providing a robust foundation in the biological and psychological sciences. Currently, Kensley is a part of the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) training program through Pine Rest. She is committed to continuous professional development and delivering high-quality, patient-centered mental health care.
