Dr. Kelsey Woolner is a pediatric neuropsychologist at the Pine Rest Psychological Consultation Center. Dr. Woolner completed her bachelor’s degree in human development at California State University, Long Beach. She went on to complete her master’s degree and doctoral degree in clinical psychology at Rosemead School of Psychology in La Mirada, California. She moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2020 to complete her pre-doctoral internship at Pine Rest and then stayed to complete her two-year post-doctoral fellowship specializing in pediatric neuropsychology.
Dr. Woolner’s clinical experience includes neuropsychological assessment of children and adolescents with genetic conditions, prenatal alcohol exposure, seizure disorders, cerebrovascular conditions, premature birth, and other neurodevelopmental concerns including autism spectrum disorder and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder. She has also provided psychotherapy across a number of settings including intensive outpatient, community mental health, inpatient, residential, and outpatient. She continues to see a small number of therapy patients in addition to her assessment practice.
