Katie is a dedicated mental health provider committed to creating a safe, welcoming space where patients feel comfortable sharing openly. She takes a collaborative approach to care, tailoring treatment plans to each individual’s goals and values. Using evidence-based practices, Katie aims to minimize medication while maximizing effectiveness. She also supports holistic wellness by addressing key lifestyle factors such as sleep, nutrition, exercise and therapy—empowering patients to take an active, informed role in their mental health journey.
Sessions with Katie include a structured and thorough assessment, discussion of diagnoses, review of treatment plan options, and ongoing medication management follow-ups to ensure symptom management with adjustments as needed. She provides medication management services for individuals over the age of 18, with a special interest in treating obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Katie also treats a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, personality disorders, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
An experienced mental health medication management provider, Katie is a board-certified physician assistant who has been providing care at Pine Rest since 2019. She received additional training in psychiatry through the Pine Rest Advanced Practice Providers trainee program. Katie completed her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences at Michigan State University and earned her Master of Science in Medicine from Western Michigan University’s Physician Assistant Program.
