Kathryn Lamb is an LLMSW (Limited License Master Social Worker). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Grand Valley State University in 2020. She then received her Master’s in Social Work from Grand Valley State University in 2022.

Kathryn started working at Pine Rest in 2019 as a Psychiatric Technician throughout all the inpatient hospital units. She then transitioned into a Clinical Social Worker position in the Adult Partial Hospitalization Program in June 2022. She has experience working with children, adolescents and adults 18 years and older; she also has experience working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation, bipolar disorder, and utilizes treatments informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and other strengths-based approaches.

Kathryn hopes that everyone she works with knows they are not alone and that they have unchanging worth. Kathryn strives to create a safe, judgement-free and comfortable space. She asks individuals to come as they are and navigate life stressors with unconditional positive regard, while also challenging them to make healthy changes for long-term growth.
