Dr. Katsoulis specializes in treating adult patients ages 18 through 65 for psychiatric medication management. Some common diagnoses she treats regularly include depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder, postpartum depression, premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), alcohol use disorder, among others. She has a special interest in working with women who are healing from mental illness in their reproductive years and in the peripartum period.
Dr. Katsoulis places specific intention in getting to know her patients over time in order to make the best decision regarding their psychiatric medications. Her goal is to find the most productive and effective medication(s) in treating a patient’s mental illness to improve their quality of life. Patients can expect a warm, professional, non-judgemental space to discuss their questions, concerns, and medical issues.
Dr. Katsoulis has been practicing psychiatry since 2019. She received her Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience and a minor in Gender and Health from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She subsequently received her medical degree from Central Michigan University. She received her 4 year residency training through Pine Rest CMHS in Grand Rapids where she served as chief resident in her third year. She is licensed to practice adult psychiatry in Michigan. When she is not working with her patients she is teaching resident physicians in their outpatient psychiatric clinics.
