“I believe that healing happens in the context of safe, supportive relationships. Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and I strive to create an environment where trust can grow and clients feel empowered to face life’s challenges. I’m passionate about walking alongside people of all ages as they navigate stress, trauma and transitions—supporting growth even when it feels uncomfortable.”
Kali brings a calm and grounded presence to therapy. She works with children, families and adults, creating a space where clients feel seen, respected and supported. Her approach is strength-based and client-centered, recognizing that lasting change happens when clients feel safe and connected. Kali helps clients explore the personal, relational and societal factors that may be impacting their well-being, and collaborates with them to build effective support systems both within and outside of therapy.
Kali uses a range of evidence-based practices, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Interpersonal Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness Self-Compassion. She tailors each session to meet the unique needs of the individual or family, drawing on clients’ strengths and values to guide the work. She provides culturally responsive therapy, including work with international clients and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Clients working with Kali can expect to build emotional insight, gain tools for managing anxiety and stress, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. Her sessions often include reflection, skill-building and gentle challenges that support progress over time.
Kali is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from Western Michigan University. She has experience providing therapy in home-based, outpatient, and college settings.
