Dr. Kaitlin Tuinstra is a Pediatric Neuropsychology Postdoctoral Fellow at the Pine Rest Psychological Consultation Center. Dr. Tuinstra earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (BA) from the University of Michigan, a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Michigan, and a Doctor of Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from the Michigan School of Psychology. She completed her predoctoral internship in neuropsychology through the Henry Ford Health Center for Health Sciences in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Tuinstra’s clinical experience includes neuropsychological assessment of children and adolescents with genetic conditions, prenatal alcohol exposure, cerebrovascular conditions, seizure disorders, premature birth, and other neurodevelopmental concerns including autism spectrum disorder and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder. She also has experience completing education evaluations for learning disabilities.
Dr. Tuinstra is a Grand Rapids native and is excited to have returned to the west side to serve the patients and families of the community she grew up in.
