“I’ve always believed that kids learn and grow best when they’re having fun—and that therapy should feel more like play than work. My path to becoming an occupational therapist started with a passion for recreation and creativity, which naturally evolved into helping children build life skills in joyful, engaging ways. Whether it’s through art, movement or imaginative play, I love finding what motivates each child, and using that spark to help them succeed. My goal is to create a space where kids feel safe to try, fail, try again—and feel proud of how far they’ve come.”
Julia brings a warm, playful and strengths-based approach to pediatric occupational therapy. Families working with her can expect a collaborative experience that focuses on the child’s unique needs, interests and developmental goals. Julia values building trust with each child and creating a therapeutic environment that is both fun and effective.
Julia’s clinical areas of interest include autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing challenges, ocular motor related difficulties, primitive reflex integration, and pediatric mental health. She uses evidence-based strategies and tailors sessions to meet children where they are, helping them build foundational skills for independence, confidence and daily life success.
Julia earned her Bachelor of Science in Recreational Therapy with a minor in Psychology from Central Michigan University, and her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Davenport University.
