Clients working with Joshua can expect a compassionate, collaborative and challenging environment where they feel supported and understood. His approach is integrative, combining systems theory, solution-focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing. Additionally, he incorporates personality frameworks such as the Enneagram to enhance self-awareness, improve communication, guide personal growth, and support lasting behavior change. His style is engaging and grace-filled, incorporating humor to create an atmosphere of safety and openness. Joshua strives to provide a non-judgmental space where clients can begin (or continue) the process of “falling apart” and, ultimately, rebuild a stronger sense of self.=
Joshua takes a holistic, integrative approach to therapy, drawing from various therapeutic modalities to meet the unique needs of each client. While he believes in the power of evidence-based techniques, he also values the importance of understanding the person as a whole—mind, body and spirit. His style is warm and empathetic, yet grounded in a practical, solution-oriented mindset. Joshua is passionate about building strong, trusting relationships with his clients and offering them the tools to navigate their personal journey with confidence and clarity.
