“As a therapist, I am passionate about creating a supportive environment where you can feel less alone. I understand that everyone’s journey is unique; I meet you where you are, offering a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings. Together, we’ll navigate life’s challenges and work toward your personal growth and well-being.”
Josh takes a collaborative approach to therapy. He hopes to create a space where each client will be able to express how they feel without feeling like they are being judged. Therapy is a very personal experience, and Josh values the necessity to have a place where one can be open and honest about how their emotions impact them.
Josh applies a variety of treatment approaches to ensure that individual needs are addressed. Treatment modalities that Josh utilizes include cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy, and strength-based perspectives. Josh is also DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy) informed, trauma informed, and LGBTQIA+ affirming. Josh values the therapeutic relationship and hopes that through working together, you can begin to heal, grow, and develop the skills necessary to be successful in meeting your individual goals.
