“I chose to become a therapist because I believe healing is possible, even in the aftermath of deep pain. My work is grounded in a trauma-informed approach that honors the strength it takes to survive and the courage it takes to seek support. I understand that trauma can shape how we see ourselves, others and the world—and that healing requires safety, trust and compassion. Whether we’re working through anxiety, grief, complex trauma, or identity exploration, my goal is to create a collaborative space where you feel empowered to reclaim your voice and rewrite your story.”
Jonathan’s purpose is to create a space where individuals feel empowered, not pathologized; where their stories are met with empathy, not judgment. He strives to walk alongside his clients as they reclaim their voice, reconnect with their inner resilience, and move toward a life that feels more whole, grounded and free. He integrates modalities like EMDR, DBT, Ego State Therapy, CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic practices, and narrative therapy to help clients and couples reconnect with their inner wisdom and restore a sense of wholeness.
Jon’s clients learn to recognize what safety feels like in their body and environment, and how to create it for themselves—both in and outside of therapy. They gain insight into how trauma affects the brain, body and relationships, helping to reduce shame and increase self-compassion. Clients develop tools to manage overwhelming emotions, reduce anxiety, and respond to triggers with greater awareness and control. Through somatic practices, clients reconnect with their bodies, learning to notice sensations, release tension and stay present. They explore how to set and maintain boundaries that protect their well-being and support healthier relationships. Clients learn to treat themselves with the same kindness they would offer a loved one. They begin to recognize their strengths, celebrate progress, and make choices that align with their values and goals. Empowerment becomes a central theme as clients reclaim agency over their lives.
