Jonathan Gladding is a Limited License Social Worker with the Pine Rest Campus Clinic where he sees clients age 6-99.
Jon obtained his MSW from Loyola University of Chicago and his BA from Aquinas College. Prior to his work with Pine Rest, Jon worked with children from Chicago’s west and south sides as well as adults experiencing homelessness in San Francisco. He is trained in Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (trauma-informed care).
Jon uses a holistic approach to care and recognizes the importance of treating the whole person: physically, emotionally and spiritually. He believes that powerful healing occurs in the context of relationships, and he is passionate about liberating ourselves from internalized oppression.
Jon’s areas of interest include working with children and adults with depression, anxiety, trauma, and LGBTQ+ issues.
Outside of work, Jon enjoys baking, yoga, running, reading, and learning about social justice issues. He also loves spending time with his family in Indiana and hanging out with queer friends in West Michigan.
