
Jessica Switek, LMSW
Jessica is a fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker working at Pine Rest’s Northeast Clinic She earned both her bachelor’s (2010) and master’s (2011) of Social Work degrees from Michigan State University.
Before coming to Pine Rest, Jessica worked in a skilled nursing facility and also worked several years in the community mental health system, with adults and older adults diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illnesses (including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, personality disorders, anxiety, PTSD, substance abuse, etc.). These previous work experiences included providing case management, individual therapy, and group therapy to her clients.
Jessica focuses on a strengths-based and person-centered approach with her clients. She supports her clients in identifying their goals and making the steps towards accomplishing their goals. Jessica utilizes various therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, etc.
