“I believe in the power of therapy to help individuals reclaim their voice, build resilience and feel empowered in their lives. My passion lies in supporting those who may feel overlooked or misunderstood, and creating a space where they feel truly seen and heard. This commitment was shaped early on by my dad’s unwavering support for underdogs in sport—a  simple yet profound reminder that everyone deserves someone in their corner. That philosophy continues to guide my work as a therapist, helping clients tap into their strengths and move forward with confidence.”

Jessica creates a warm, supportive and non-judgmental therapeutic space where clients feel safe to share their thoughts and emotions openly. She takes a collaborative and person-centered approach as she works alongside individuals to help them identify their strengths, set meaningful goals and build resilience. Jessica’s clients can expect to feel heard, respected and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.

Jessica utilizes a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. Her practice includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and a strengths-based approach. As a trauma-informed and LGBTQIA+-affirming therapist, she creates a safe and inclusive space for healing. Jessica also integrates mindfulness-based strategies to support emotional regulation, reduce stress and enhance overall well-being.

Jessica is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) at the Pine Rest Campus Clinic. She earned both her Bachelor and Master of Social Work degrees from Grand Valley State University. Since joining Pine Rest in 2015, Jessica has served in a variety of roles, providing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, severe mental health conditions and co-occurring disorders. She also brings experience working with clients managing chronic health conditions and chronic pain, offering compassionate support tailed to complex needs.

Jessica Sevic participates in the Diversity Collective.
