Jessica’s therapeutic style is characterized by openness, honesty and a collaborative approach. She is committed to helping clients gain insights into their challenges, identify practical strategies and equip themselves with actionable tools to make immediate, positive changes. Her work is grounded in evidence-based practices, including solution-focused counseling, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psycho-educational techniques, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing. She also integrates a humanistic approach to therapy, emphasizing empathy and respect for each person’s unique journey.

Jessica earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University in 2005. She is both a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Limited Licensed Psychologist in Michigan. Her experience spans various clinical settings, including crisis units, mental health centers and correctional facilities, where she has supported individuals in high-stress environments. Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles and served as a staff trainer in addition to her clinical responsibilities. She specializes in sexual offender risk assessments and treatment modalities, and has spent a significant portion of her career helping adults.
